sheepheadslayer
Just wondering if any one had a good venison recipe they like. I usually just cook the steaks on the grill then cut up and dip in a little garlic butter. Not very heathly but good.

Borch
I have a few good recipes. Favorites are stew and chops with mushroom gravy. Here's the Venison chop recipe.Sprinkle chops with garlic salt and ground pepper. Pound seasons into meat with tenderizing hammer. Lightly coat chops in flour with some pepper and parsley flakes added. Fry in Vegtable oil. Add chopped onions and simmer. Pour two cans of cream of mushroom soup, one cup of water and three beef boulloin cubes over the chops and let simmer. Serve with boiled potatos or rice and your favorite vegatable. My kids favorite meal. I could make this 2-3 times a week without complaint. When I run out of chops I use steak instead.[This message has been edited by Borch (edited 11-19-2003).]
red bricks
Try marinating steaks in Italian dressing (like wishbone) for a few hours and throw em on the grill. It is very good.

BradB
Get a copy of "Best Venison Ever" by John O. Cartier. Everything I've made from that book has been fantastic.
