Borch
Well the yozuri Crystal minnows will run very shallow(1-2'). However, their action is very tight and they run best with a little more speed than I like to use especially in the fall. I really like the floating rattlin rogues for shallow water as well. They dive about 2'. The floating raps #11 & #13 both dive around 3-4'. I also like the Rebel jointed fastback minnows for very shallow water They run about 2'.For a bit deeper water(6-8') I like the husky jerks, bomber long A, jointed #11 rapalas, thundersticks and Super Rogues. Along with the shad raps already mentioned.

The Bomber Long A (Chartreuse Flash / Black Back B15AXCH color)is an often overlooked lure that can easily be made into a neutrally boyant suspending lure - Heat a small wire (paperclip) over a flame, make a small hole on top of the head, inject 5 to 7cc of water, heat the wire again and seal the hole. AWESOME! Another tip is to bend each treble out 1 or 2 degrees to help hookups. If you are getting too many weeds you can try cutting the front hook off of the front treble. It does not seem to reduce the # of fish that get hooked.Chuck
Team Otter
Salmo crankbaits are very tough to beat.

Are you still running hornets in the fall? or have you switched over to some of their other styles? I mainly have #4 Hornets and am hoping they produce some eyes this weekend on Mille Lacs. Any feedback about Salmo is appreciated as I am excited about these lures!
Borch
I've had very good results with the Salmo Minnow #9. They run about 6 ft, have a nice wide wobble and come in great colors.
Team Otter
Yeah, I still use Hornets in the fall but just upsize to a #5 and #6. Also, like Borch said, I use #7 and #9 Minnows too. Great lures indeed so you should be excited!
Crappie Kid
Thanks fellas. I have had good luck with #5 jointed Rapala in Perch with the orange underside. I will have to check out the Salmos'.
