A couple of firsts!

First #1: I took my buddy Damon out muskie fishing a couple days ago. He's put in quite a bit of time and hadn't caught a muskie yet. We finally popped his... dry streak... and he got this 38.5 incher at sunrise. Awesome pic!

First #2: I nabbed my first 50 incher! She came at about 11:00 a.m. Pitched out my twitchbait, it plunked down in the water, one twitch, and WHAAAMMMO! A very fat 52 inch beauty. Great fight, tons of fun. Not a great pic- the fish is curled around me and you can't appreciate how long she was. You can certainly tell how fat she was though.

It was fun to watch her swim away!

I'm officially in the 50 inch club- where do I get my membership card? Who teaches me the secret handshake?

Your fish is a PIG, you can really see all 52 of her on the release photo! That is one of the better "release" photos I've seen!

11:00AM, bright and sunny, calm water.........go figure! As a wise man has said, "Stupid fish"!

Scoot - did you catch that fish on DL? It's a beauty. My 13 yr old son got his first 50 last weekend also - actually Thursday. His previous best was a 49 last year. It was the first of 3 for him that morning. Ate a bucktail not far from the boat and gave him a whopper of a fight. He outfished dad 4 -2 for the weekend. If I can figure out how to download (find the cables!) I'll post his picture.
