harvey lee
It sure looks like Jr.,Gordon and Kenseth are coming on at the right time and ol Johnson is slipping somewhat in ther last few weeks.Should be a great run to the finish.
lawdog
the 8, 9 and 24 cars were the class of the show Sunday in Cali. I told you to watch out for that 24 car Lee!!!!!
harvey lee
I am thinking the 8 is just as hot as the 24 dude. Lawdog,my wife and son are also cheering very hard for that #24 car and I still am holding on with the 8.Gordon should have a better chance at the #1 spot as Jr has his ups and downs but he is not out of it.One cannot forget about Kenseth as he has been good all season and there is always a sleeper in the top ten to watch out for. JohnMickish
I hate to say it and it really kind of hurts but Jr. and team have matured to be a pretty competitive bunch. I think it will be tough to beat the 17 or 29's consistency though.
lawdog
Ya the top ten will have its surprises. Its much easier to put a ten race run together than a 36 race championship, and also much easier for one rotten luck to take you out in ten races vs. 36. That's why I hate this format and still think (always will) Kurt Busch's championship is phony. Stewart would have won it either way but Busch was eliminated several weeks before the end in the real points. Doesn't seem fair to Jimmy J and Matt K as really those two have been head and shoulders above everyone else all year...
harvey lee
I agree Dog that one bad race and you are probably out of the championship. Its to bad that one can have a great year and in the final ten have a bad day and be out. What is one to do as this is what the higher ups want. Its kind of like the fantasy leaque,I have had a pretty good season and led the majority of the year, but if I have a couple bad ones then its down I go.I guess thats the way it goes. You win some and you lose some. Sifty
I would say the 17 is the hottest thing going. But one race and it all change's.Sifty
