Does anyone know if there are any fish in the rivers yet in the bayfield or ashland area? Thinking about heading over there next weekend.

there's a few in already, but the water is LOW. Fishing won't get good until we get some very badly needed rain.

Thanks for the info Quickstrike. It is a holiday weekend that usually means rain. I am looking forward to getting out there! Hope the rain comes soon

we were supposed to get some today, but it's looking like the forcast has changed. i guess i'll have time to make one more gunflint trip before the rivers start producing.

Blaine were you gonna sneak out there without me? I'm thinking of heading over by bayfield too it should be going on soon just need RAIN!!! There's a creek over there that should have plenty of water closer to the lake and i haven't looked into it yet but i'm sure there's a few in there sitting tight to the wood. Quick or Blaine we should meet up and check out the waters. I'll talk to you at work blaine but quick let us know if ya wanna head out there.

I don't know man. That's kinda askin for alot. Maybe a chance for sunday if i get a few does on saturday. Rain would make the decision a little easier. We'll see how tmrw goes...I'll await your call. Have fun at work!

I found fish last weekend and I might make it back this weekend we'll see how much rain drops. Anyone else doing anything lately???

I won't be able to make it out to bayfield/ashland this weekend due to morning charters, but I'll probally manage to get out to the brule for a few hours in the afternoon. If we get some rain this weekend, I might have to force myself out there on sunday.

How long will the Fall fishing last on the Brule? I am coming up the end of the month and hope to get on a few of the nice fish that may be left.

Fall fishing on the brule will last through november 15...after that it closes. It's good all the way through till the closer.
