Aren' they from a deer? The first pic is interesting because of the two smaller track marks a bit farther back. Wonder what caused that...

Maybe a doe with really, REALLY small back hoofs?

dear lord I hope you two aren't serious. Nice soft ground is always good for getting a feel for the size of a hoof print. Once the dewclaws sink in you can really see how big the hoof is.

If you look at the top picture, I think I had a halloween mask similar to that one....

I didn't mean it to be an insult, it just sounded like you were being sarcastic.

The two dots are the dewclaws. Any hooved animal has them as well as dogs, but they only have 1. Think of it as the "thumb" on a dogs paw.
