Who thinks that Jr. and Gordon will make the top 10? I personally dont believe with the races left that Jr. will make the final 10.

Gordon has a shot but they better not have any more bad things happen because I dont believe he can afford one more or he also will be watching from outside the top ten.It will be interesting.

IMO, the three real threats outside the top ten right now are Kahne, Busch and Biffle. I think Biffle is more of a threat to knock someone out of the top ten than Kahne or Busch are. Watkins and Bristol coming up can throw some major kinks in the points. Stewart is not a lock either and one more temper tantrum and he could be on the outside looking in. It's so hard to say, but with the races remaining, I think Gordon and Stewart are in and Biffle takes Junior's spot (hope not). Kahne is out IMO. Hamlin's points position isn't all that rosy either. Seventh through thirteenth place in points right now is nearly a coin toss. And, to throw this thought into the mix, but one or two bad races from the 48 team and some of these teams could pull to within 400 points.

Its really tough to call any of those guys 7th down through 11th are one race away from a swing in or out. Biffle still has a real outside chance but I think Kurt Busch on back are all done.

My prediction is that Kahne/Earnhardt are the only two that are really going to switch or not. Stewart and Gordon both make it while those two flip a coin for the last spot. Neither one is running worth a darn right now but one will get it and they probably hold off Biff and the others...

Gordon in, he has some very good tracks coming up and barring some sort of disaster he should make it. Jr. on the other hand does not finish well at the road coarses, and neither does Biffle. I think it's going to come down to the 8 and 16 for the last spot.

Anyone think Carl Edwards can make it in? If not, he can thank the 20. (hopefully with a well placed tap on the left rear quarter).

Or Carl could have run better at several other tracks and it would be a non-factor. If Stewart doesn't make it, can he blame Newman? If Gordon doesn't make it can he blame Kenseth? If Kenseth doesn't make it, can he blame Gordon? If...... There's no doubt that what Stewart did hurt Carls chances, but everyone of these guys gets taken out at some point, you just have to run well enough to get through a bad finish or two.

One thing I am sure the drivers all fear that are in or close to the top ten is one race for sure that is in a couple weeks.This track will change positions as there are so many accidents and close racing.Yoyu got it,Bristol!!!
