Waconia bass

Would start off the Bullrush edges, but with the recent rain I would say the shallower water is a little more oxygenated and will be holding some fish especially earlier in the day. If you are not finding much in that area I would work the north shore milfoil beds.

Good Luck and tell us how you do. wink.gif

Docks west of the island. Reed patch with docks on either side. Using worms. No doubt to put bass in the boat. Get there EARLY, before there is boat traffic. Good luck. smirk.gif

We fished jigs and worms in the reeds and caught a few fish but had to work a little harder to get fish in the boat. Unfortunately there were a couple of other boats in the area working the water over pretty good before we got to it. I think had we had the reed area to ourselves we would have caught a lot more fish.

We did try some cranks over the top of the reefs and caught a few bass. Mostly I just wanted to get a few casts with my new reel (Quantum Tour Edition PT Burner, sweet reel BTW).

Fishing could have been better but anytime on the water is better than not. We also got to witness a beautiful sunset. All in all not too bad. :-)

we did't have very good luck either, started out fishing rat-l-traps over the weeds got one small eye bout 10" then moved to some docks with worms and jigs got one bass about 13" 14" moved to the reeds and got nothing.
