looking for a retail store

I know this is pretty broad, but i will try anyways. I am looking for a retail store with in a couple of hours of rochester for my brother in law. He is looking for a good selection on salmon takle for lake michigan. He had tried cabelas and gander with no reall success. He is looking for any spoons, flashers, plugs, flies (not sure what type of flies) i'm guessing its going to be larger tackle. i have no idea since i don't fish for salmon

I wouldn't even bother. Whe you go to the place you're going they will certainly have a bait/hardware shop with all the necessities.

When I went to Algoma all the needed lures, accessories, etc. were there, the right colors, and the right parts.

I brought something bought locally (couldn't find much) but never even used it.

We are leaving this coming thursday for Kiwani (hope spelling is right) for the weekend. I put a post there for any suggestions. My brother in law has the itch to buy stuff i am guessing.

I am thinking you would have to order the stuff on-line but pretty sure you wouldn't get it on time.

Most (if not all) takle stores are going to carry what the locals are using and need, so you should be able to find what you need when you get there.

The tell him to hold on to his money since Algoma (few miles north of Kewaunee) hardware stores have ALL he needs for fishing salmon. Flies, flashers, spoons, dipsys, etc.

Best bet is ask local guys what's hot, then purchase them there.

You will not find anything around here, trust me.

I was in Kewaunee a few weeks ago, the gas station on top of the hill just down the block and across the road from the grocery store had plenty of salmon tackle.
