Vikings jersey

Last year I really goofed. I bought a Burleson jersey before the season started. Not only was he bad last year he is now in Seattle.

Who should I get this year?

Not Brad, no clear RB, no big names.

Thoughts?

Greenway's will be coming out soon. He'll be around for awhile.

You could always go get one personalized with what ever name you want on it. Bunch on internet sites that do that.

You could put something like "Packer Hater", "Bears Basher" or "Captin Love Boat" on the back.

Two years ago I bought a Brock Lesner jersey. Still get comments on it. The guy never made the team but I do remember one hit he put on a guy in a preseason game during a kick off. The guy had a neck the size of my waist.

If I get another Vikings jersey ever, it will just have my name on the back. I know that's not changing and the players I'm sure always will keep changing. There is no loyalty in that league, route for the team, not the individuals!

I don't buy jerseys with current players anymore! I currently own and have in my closet - Culpepper, Moss, Hovan, Bennett, Smith Robert & Carter Chris (Altough these two retired so by my rules can still be worn. Every player I buy leaves the team - I will take suggestions in case you are personally looking to get rid of a particular Viking, I buy their Jersey - they leave.

I like the one posters idea of buying the throwback jersey or former hall of famer or great player. I have many jerseys of some of the greats in the NFL and MLB and you can't go wrong with those.

I am planning on buying the new Vikings jersey but I am just going to put my softball number and name on the back!!

Hey now #69 is Lesners number isn't it hanging on the metrodome wall somewhere. Oh wait he didn't even make the team. OPPS Just my two cents worth decide your size you know big lineman higher numbers d-back r-back's or QB then put you name. I used my football number on the new jersey with my last name.

I have two authentic jerseys that I bought cheap after the players were gone. A #11 Culpepper and a #99 Hovan. Found a place on the internet that sells authentic lettering. I now have a #99 Erasmus James and a #11 Joe Kapp. I post this because I believe Koren Robinson is now using Burlesons old number. Check it out.

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
