Plastics

Fishin4Life

Question

Sorry, I don't mean to double post, but i thought it might better fit in this forum than in the bass forum...here it is

I have bag after bag of plastic baits. My question is can I remove them from their zip lock bags and keep them in my plano boxes? Or will something bad happen to them. Most of my plastics are from MR. Twister, Exude ones. I have a couple of the Gulps and I know those would dry out and leave a mess out of the bag. But generally the plastics that are salted or have sents imbedded, will they be fine out of the bags? Even after the winter months for using the next season?

Will,

I keep all of my Exude and MisterTwister plastics in those clear plano boxes. It's much easier than carrying around a pile of bags and trying to find each one when you need it. I haven't had any problems with the Exude plastics as far as storing them in plastic containers. Everything is much more organized and easier to see what you're looking for.

I haven't tried storing the Gulp products in plastic containers though, so I don't have any advice on that one...

I take all my plastics out of there original bags and put them in zip lock baggies. That way the scented ones stay air tight, and if my plano gets knocked over,I'm not picking up tons of baits and sorting them out.I usually buy in bulk,so I'll open the factory bag and dump the whole works into a large zip lock. Then,I'll take enough out of each and put them into the smaller sandwich size zip locks and roll the air out and zip 'em.They'll roll small enough to fit into the plano compartments.
