HARPOON-OR-BUST
Cabelas, Gander, so on. Cost usually $29.99 and worth every penny!

wallter
I'm curious, does the book get into specific brands and lure #'s? I'm looking to purchase some cranks but wonder if I should read that book first.
rosspj59
It does list specific lures, brands, and sizes. If you know what depths you want to troll this will help you decide which cranks to purchase that will hit the depths you want. If you troll it is worth every penny. RedDB76
There isn't a whole lot of reading involved with it. 99% of it is dive charts (depth of lure vs. line out). Though, it may help to study the dive charts to find lures that dive to the depths you want to fish before you go shopping. You will soon find out though, that you can never walk past the crankbaits in the store - you will always stop, look, and find one or ten that you "need". wallter
Just bought the last one and saved $5 over the 2 big boys. Thanks.
WadeSt
I bought the Rapala Fishing Tackle Guide for less than $5. My understanding is that is was written by the "Precison Trolling" guys. I would assume it doesnt have all the info the big book has, but it's small enough to keep in your tackle box and seems to detail all the different Rapala lures. I had a lot of trouble finding it at first, but the Rapala HSOforum referred be to a tackle shop in Arkansas - (800) 658-9066.
