X100C installation question

After reding the manual, ect., even though there is a 15 wire harness included with this unit I believe all I need is the Red and Black wires for the power hookup, and the transducer of course. Or am I missing something?. I am not connecting to a network, or anything else. Thanks

Not familiar with that particular unit but have installed a lot of Lowrance units. What you say sounds correct, just use the red and black wires to power the unit and tape everything else off. Use a fuse holder as close to the battery as possible. Then connect the transducer and you should be good to go. Good luck.

You will not need the extra wires. I just coiled them up and taped them off.

The leftover wires are for mdata exchange with computer, NMEA /GPS antennas (not Lowrance), and others.

Just coil them up nice and tape them so they won't get tangled.
