drip bags

A week or two before I plan to hunt for the first time. But I'll also soak some clean unscented tampons in some deer pee and hang a few around my hunting area on afternoon hunts. Deer have investigated them before. You can put the tampons in a ziplock when done and reuse them a few times. Don't laugh. Cheaper than scentwicks.

my wife: do you need anything from the store?

me: yeah, pick me up some unscented tampons

I don't want to hijack dahitmans thread so back on topic, I use Trails End from Wildlife Research Center in my drip bag. Curiousity and sex scent so its good pretty much all season in drawing interest from does and bucks - again, if they're already in the neighborhood.

True story --

Went to the Drug Store in Perham and asked a young gal where the female products were. I was a little buzzed so saying tampons sounded funny. She blushed and sent me to the right isle.

I looked for a while and eneded up going back to her and asking where the unscented ones were. She blushed again and said my wife would prefer the sented ones.

I said, "They are for me and I want the unscented."

She turned beet red an so did I when I fiugured out what I said. Then I told her that they were for the deer and got the heck out of there.
