Matt Johnson
Quote: Matt,it looked like Rick caught the bigger gill, whats up with that? Yes, Rick caught one of the bigger gills that day That one was sow! Not only just shy of 10-inches, but one of the thicker fish I've seen this year... Mr. Pike1
Matt, Excellent Show!!!! I believe I have asked you before but where do you get the specific collarless jigs you use? I ordered some collarless jigs from the site but I find the shank of the hook to be to large and the jig color is not the bright orange, chartruse, and pink that I really like for my 1/32 jig heads. I fish the exude micro shads as well on the collared jig and do run into a lot of the rips and tears. Just let me know. If direct through you maybe I could order and send you some cash or meet up at a local lake to fish and make the transaction
Troublehook
Great show! Very informative. I would love to fish at that lake. I don't know of any metro lakes with those size 'gills. Good job
Matt Johnson
Those collarless jigs are custom made by a friend of mine. Scenic Tackle also makes collarless jigs, I'm assuming that's where you ordered yours from. I was also told that they make 1/32oz jigs with a size 8 hook as well. You might want to try contacting Scenic Tackle direct to see if Jeff can make you a set... [email protected]

Captain B.R.K
You guys did another great show Matt and Rick! I especially like the fact that you took the time to show the lures, talked about the plastics (Exude microshad's) and why you chose them over live bait. Geez.... all those gills you got where great! Kudos
PERCHJR
Great show guys, I have been hitting a local lake around here for Crappie and Bull gills and have been catching them all summer long. Last week I finally caught my biggest a 10 1/4" just a hair under a pound Bull gill, and sorry to say guys I had to put that one on the wall!!! Again great show and keep up the good work, I look forward to more in the future!!! GOOD FISHING!!!
Fishook
Very informative and really well done. I hope there will be more of these shows down the road. You asked for our comments and I have one that is meant to be constructive and I hope it is taken that way. My comment relates to some of the releases you guys did. I would have much more prefered to see you release those beauties by hand placing them in the water instead of just flipping them back while standing up. I don't know if flipping can hurt the fish but as fragile as they can be a more gentle release would certainly seem appropriate. I for one would appreciate seeing more of that type. Thanks for listening and the great products (FM/HSO/etc.) you fellows produce.
