Navionics Premium compatibility with LCX 15MT

Does anybody have a LCX 15MT and the Navionics Preminum maps ?

Does it work fine ? I am looking for something decent for the great lakes.

That unit can not support the Premimum chips from Navionics.. But either way, I would suggest you look at the XL3 Western Great Lakes Chip for strictly Great Lakes use. This will cover more then enough for you:

900P WEST GREAT LAKES MICHIGAN, SUPERIOR, HURON Including Lake of the Woods, Rainy Lake, North Channel, Georgian Bay, Green Bay and Lake Winnebago.

I thought Northlander had a 15 that was upgraded for the Newer Nav chips? Maybe not......

I went through this after I bought my X-15 and if I recall only the "GOLD" package is compatable with this unit.

Nope my 15 doesnt handle them. After talking with dealerships and Lowrance they told me all I could do is buy a new unit or stay with what I have now. That sucked!

I run my Navionics Premium in my H2Oc and I really like that.
