I checked the lower unit gear lube on my 200 merc was leaking from the drain screws and had water in it because there was one bad washer and a extra one on top of a bad washer (from the shop that winterized it last year for me)I thought. So I replaced the washers and refilled the lower unit with fresh gear lube. I checked it after a week at Rainy Lk. and found the lube was milky again. I think seals need replacement, so to replace the seals on this, is this a job I could handle with decent mechanical ability or should I bring it in to a better shop than before? Does anyone have a good reliable shop to recomend in the North St. Paul area Thanks HTB
We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
