I have gotten an e-mail from the guy setting it up. I guess there will be NO October T-zone hunt for the next 2 years, for sure. There will be a December T-zone hunt for antlerless only instead. There is also a change in the licenses. The T-zone tags will be $2 each even for out of state hunters. Over the counter. This is what he sent me:

There is no EAB in northern WI. You will be in a Herd Control unit,

however, and you will be able to purchase as many of the $2 tags as you

want. They will be valid the day you buy them as long as the season is

open.

Main message: The harvest ratio should be 2:1 antlerless to antlered

this year. We need that for herd control

I'am going to shoot a big one for sure.Only mine will be in North Dakota and thats if they find it in thier heart to draw my name.Otherwise bow only.At 2 dollars for a non residents, thats a fair deal.ND charges 50 clams for a extra doe and they have more tags than they can usually get rid of.

If you're gonna invite me to come hunt with you in ND don't beat around the bush, just ask! laugh.gif

If I see a monster you'll know cuz the newspaper headlines will read something like,"Eau Claire hunter shatz himself, misses buck, and falls out of treestand" frown.gif

Well shoot all you want in your area. Mine is in Iron River. He is big too, and he has friends! I am hoping to see a pig one of these years. What a picture hanging from the meat pole. Full of deer and the token hog!
