I'm going to Winnie this weekend and was wonderin what seems to be hot up there right now.

Chances are I'll be on Winnie sometime this weekend too, especially if I can talk my folks into watching their grandkids for a while (usually not too hard to do). I think my plan will be jigs/shiners on the north and west sides of the lake, or crawler rigs on the first sets of humps a few miles south of the north shore. Might also try trolling cranks along some shorelines and look for pockets of fish, then go back and work them.

Looking forward to being there, Winnie is one of my favorite lakes. Good luck up there.
