This is all your opinion mine is fireline we all fish differently line is made to be better for different situations abrasion, teeth,the way you set hooks and many other factors decide what line you use

check your line guides. maybe theyre cracked or something. take a strip of nylon- (panty hose) and run it through see if it catches. Of all the braids( and Ive thrown them all) PP is by far my favorite
