Printing industry

Reef Runner

Question

Any one else out there that is in the printing industry. I currently work for a print company in Eden Prairie. I have been working here for about 8 years. We recently have had some new management put in place and let me tell you that they have no clue as to what they are doing. Anyone know of any jobs out there??

I was in the printing trade for 36 years before a big outfit out of Wis bought us and eventually closed us down and sold off the equipment. Your company name doesn't start with a B does it. We had branches in Eden Prairie, Maple Groove and Long Prairie. Not to many jobs left in the printing trade any more.

Before McGill Jenson it was McGill Graohic Arts. I also worked in the bindrey. And I'm guessing your granpa's name was Arne S. Is your dad the one that hit five numbers on the lottery? If so, I know both of them.

If you're open to moving, Schmidt in Byron is usually looking for experienced people. They are owned by Taylor Corp in Mankato and a good company to work for. I worked there for 15 years and quit because of an opportunity to move up here. The Rochester area is a nice place to live but, being much more small town people, this area is a better fit. You can do a search for their HSOforum to find out more.

Yes I go to the lunch deal once in awhile, email me at [email protected], I have a good story about your grampa to tell you. Let your dad rack his brian a little longer, it helps keep him sharp. I was the third shift bindery foreman before they closed down the folding department, that should get it for him.
