Vanish Transition

Walleye71

Question

I used this line for the first time last weekend in Sou Dak and I was very impressed with it. It survived 100 walleyes and snags without fraying. It is very easy to see to tie knots and invisible in the water. It is a bit spendy versus regular Trilene but worth it in my opinion. I like that Gold color it has in the sun!

If anyone has used it, let me know what you think of it.

PS, I donated a IMX GLoomis to the walleye gods this weekend. If you are fishing the south side of Waubay, you may snag a prize.

I used the 20 or 25# for salmon. In my experience, it is not bad. From past experience, I always replace the leader after every fish. It is not so durable for me but I think it does catch fish.

I started using Transistion last summer for leaders on my walleye rigs under Power Pro line. I used 4#, 6#, and 8# transistion and really was happy with it! smile.gif

I used straight 4# Transistion on my walleye rods last winter and was very impressed on how it handled, strength, and durability. Just remember to wet the knots when you tighten them!
