Moveable boat seats

I have a Lund Tyee and the seats are really hard to pull out of the floor. Anyone have good ideas of what to put on posts to help ease this problem?

Silicone Spray works pretty good...

1: pull up skirt

2: put it in a knot

3: put down purse

4:pull like hell

JK: I would use some scotch brite to clean it up first then lube it up because if you dont clean it first you will end up worse off then before after the spray wears off.

Car wax works great. Do not use wd40. It will slowly eat the plastic and you will come out of your chair going across the lake

I have a similar problem with my ProV seats. They are stuck. any idea on how to ge the out so I can clean and lube them? Two of us have tried to pull the #$%#$ thing out with no luck

I had the same problem when my boat was new. A guy suggested using Plege furniture polish. I tried it and it worked great. The seat bases will loosen up with use. Do not use any type of motor oil or similar product.
