For those of you who get the privelage of chasing Bass this weekend in Wisconsin..

I thought that I would throw this annually asked question out to anglers that plan on wetting a line this weekend in wisconsin as they are chasing Ol' Bucketmouth/Bronzebacks...so here it is..

What lure do you think you will be throwing first, or the majority of time when targeting Bass this weekend????

Lets Have At It!!!!!!

Counting the minutes until Saturday morning... grin.gif

Deitz,

Could'nt said it better myself. Though I may throw a senko type in the mix. Or how bout a Porko?

One main thing -- Throw something different than your partner till things start to pop.

i would also throw a senko into the mix. i also like throwing a suspending jerkbait this time of the year. also,i can be pretty fun finding lakes with smallies mixed in. they will really go after a jerkbait this time of year. the jerkbait works well for finding a little bigger fish that haven't moved shallow yet.

First bait in the water for me tomorrow, hmmm? Probably a 4" broad tailed grub like a Kalin's on an 1/8th oz. jighead.

At some point, I will pick up a Fluke (or another soft jerkbait), definitely a jig-n-pig, T-rigged craw or a lizard if the fish are snapping, and maybe even a spinnerbait. I've done well in spring water on cranks as well. Cripes...I'll throw whatever works. grin.gif

Don't forget the rattletraps! Find some new weed growth, get the trap in it, rip it out and hang on! This isn't only a Texas prespawn pattern-has bailed me out in a tough bite more than once.
