harvey lee
Kyle Busch cost me big again this week. This time he took out 2 of my picks and then Jr blew(Dogs jinx). At this rate I'll go to the bottom fast.I hope the next couple races he crashes early so he cant take my cars out.Hes just like ears. I'm going to need some better weeks to get back up there.Everyones luck runs out and today it was my turn.
JohnMickish
I missed the first 40 laps, what happened on lap 8 that caused me to score a lousy 160 points for the race. Yes, I only got 160 points from this stupid, moronic "fan friendly" plate racing.
VMS
Pretty obvious that Kyle Busch does not belong out there. He reminds me alot of Todd Bodine. Always around the wreck, usually causing it, but then saying it was a "racing incident" He was one of the two imbecils that decided to make things go 5 wide in the corner. Stupid...downright stupid!!Steve
LMITOUT
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I watched that crash a few times and I have a hard time putting the blame on Kyle Busch. Did I just say that? yikes. Anyway, yes he was the one that made contact first, but they were five wide and any one of them could have slipped a few inches and caused the same wreck. He was following someone and going forwards and then down the straightaway he started moving backwards (in the middle) and everyone else had to move around. You know as well as I do that when there is a hole in a plate race somebody is going to fill it. Before they know it they're stacked up from top to bottom with very little margin for error. That track is very bumpy and if it was repaved for this race it may not have happened because I think he hit one of those bumps right before he jogged up the track. It almost appears that the same thing happened to #8 when he spun out. Add to that somebody right outside of you and the air is gone off the side of the car.Somebody better bookmark this one, it may be the last time I defend one of the Busch brothers! If it isn't, then please arrange for one of those rubber padded rooms.
harvey lee
I cant believe you said that.It doesnt matter how many were there,as he lost control of his car.How do you blame anyone other than the guy who cant control his car?Yes that also includes Jr. Every guy out there today had to drive over those same bumps. You cant blame the track either unless everyone spins out or has a problem with those bumps.Sometimes you have to take the blame for doing something dumb. eyepatrol
Didn't the announcers place the blame on Hamlin? Or was that another wreck? I thought Hamlin bumped into Busch and so on...??? Not trying to defend Busch, 'cause I don't care much for either of those boys, but I thought the announcers blamed Hamlin for that one?
NAPAFISH
Hamlin went below the yellow line!!! Wreckers was also real low before that. I think Jrs crash er spin whatever was the same spot as Kyles , Johnson radioed in around the same time saying he was having problems there too. Exit turn 4 I think
LMITOUT
I don't believe he was wreckless in what happened, unlike other stupid mistakes he's made in the past. From what I saw on the video he wasn't out of control or driving wildly. The field engulfed him coming into the turn and he was moving backwards after he lost his momentum. Take the air off the outside because Edwards was door to door and now they are that much more on the edge. They were talking about the track both days on how the cars juke around a lot. Did you see the in-car camera of Jeff Gordon during practice? His hands were constantly sawing back and forth. Aero, Aero, Aero.I have a hard time blaming this one on anybody, and believe me, I'd pin it on Busch in a heartbeat.
JohnMickish
I heard Vickers say that there was about 5 guys that could have lifted and prevented that crash. He was one of the five that didn't lift. I can't really blame them for racing that way, if it's 20 to go but on lap 8?? Jezz, it was only lap 8.
LMITOUT
Yep, they were all probably thinking, "oh he'll lift", but none of them did!
outdoor ran
I thought Edwards had got into him and pushed him up. Could of just been my tv though
VMS
Regardless, there is no excuse for taking things 5 wide that early in a race. The two that really were out of line were Busch (filling a hole instead of staying in line) and Vickers doing the same thing by going low and making edwards change his line.Steve
