lawdog
Wondering who the 8 fans will blame for Jr. spinning the car out all by himself in the middle of a four wide corner... Nothing ever seems to be his fault, especially when its on a plate track.
jbell1981
I am going to blame you. You must have had a voodoo doll and made it happen. Its all your fault.
lawdog
Good one! I must not have done enough to the vodoo car though as he somehow spun himself out in the middle of a pack and got no damage, barely even a love tap from the 20...
OUTDOORNUT
Did Jr. also sing during the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley Field?? It is going to get crazy in a few laps.........stupid no T.V. at work!! Hey dog, How much rain did you get down there? I was through yesterday from the Black Hills..... the water was standing everywhere and the rain was coming down yet! LMITOUT
I think you got it all wrong....That's the #48's SOP to blame everyone else for his inability to drive. Yesterday did you happen to see the replay of the ending of last year's race when the #48 took out some cars at the end??? That was great when Doctor Dirt had him review the video after he just spewed a bunch of talk excuses, and Dick knew it too. BOX!Looks like maybe he is finally getting comfortable racing at the plate tracks, winning at Daytona and 'Dega today and not even crashing anybody. I guess miracles do happen! lawdog
ACTUALLY, if you bothered with reality you'd know that Jimmy said after watching the tapes that he was mostly responsible for that wreck, which your beloved 8 helped cause too, or didn't you see the part where he knocked the 10 car up to the outside and leaned on the four at the same time 48 bobbled on the inside... Never mind, like today where Jr. spun himself out, I'm sure he didn't do anything wrong and would have won easily if someone hadn't done that to him... LMITOUT
That wasn't the one I was referring to, but I do know which one you are talking about. It happened later in that race (as I mentioned above) when the 48 took out the 29, 8, and others. He was on the outside and flat pancaked his own car into the wall. Bergren caught him trying to talk his way out of another one and the tape didn't lie. You may be right though as I think he did eventually did fess up to the second one also.....about a week or more later after the media and fellow drivers were calling him on his excuses!! Anyway, at least the #8 did it to himself today. That's a lot easier to swallow than when someone else's poor driving takes you out. Should make for an interesting points standings after today with many of the front runners having issues.

harvey lee
Dog --you got it right that the fix was in.You jinxed him so he spun out and the motor blew.
LMITOUT
Just a theory: The 48 is the one that actually gets the fix so that it shows they weren't cheating at Daytona and once again NASCAR is a reputable sport. I can blow sunshine just as good as everyone else around here too.
JohnMickish
The way I see it when the 8 fix blew up they had to go to the next choice for the fix, another Hendrick/chevy championship. On a different note, I think we can now say the DEI plate dominance is now officially over. LMITOUT
Yeah, they looked horrible Saturday.... The Hendrick cars were up front most of the day and really didn't have to battle from the back and get into trouble. I don't know if there is such a thing as dominance at these tracks for the past few years with the package everyone is required to run. About eight different cars could have won it again today on the last lap. It doesn't hurt to have four cars from the same team in the race either..... eyepatrol
Tony is really running strong this year, I hate to say. But give credit where credit is due I guess. He really marched to the front when he wanted to. Kenseth ran strong also. Mears was doing well too until he got caught up in it. Would have liked to see Petty and Labonte stay clean and see what they could have done. There was the one "big one", but I thought the guys did a fair job of avoiding wrecks as compared to last year. It's plate racing, yes, but I thought it was cleaner than some past races.
