gunflint
After the break in period (25:1 for 10 hours) I would like to start using amsoil. Do any of you experts know if the called for ratio of 100:1 should be altered when using synthetic? I will be using standard 2 cycle oil for the break in. Thanks. 0 stmichael
I have a 75 Evinrude and I plan on running the Saber outboard 100:1, you can mix it how you like 50:1-100:1. (it all depends what you are comfortable with) I have been running the Saber Professional in my other 2 strokes at 100:1; chainsaw, auger, leaf blower, generator...etc... The "professional" is not recommended in outboards. (just an FYI) I find it easier to buy it direct, it is hard to find a dealer that has the right stuff..on hand. You can order it and have delivered to your home faster than getting in from the dealer, at least in my experiences. (If anyone knows a dealer that carries Amsoil outboard, please post) I'd much rather buy it and have it right now, instead of waiting for delivery. Hope this helps.
