Ranger Pedestals

O.K. all you Ranger guys. Bought the 1850 Reata. Will the posts from my Lund fisherman butt seats work in the Ranger? Just realized - if you're a long time Ranger guy you probably won't know. Hopefully someone will. Thanks.

Didnt your ranger come with pedestals???? I have a friend that has one and was told the pedestals will not work

I think the posts are different.I know that the posts ranger uses are springfield.

The boat comes with 2 fixed and 2 removable seats / pedestals. I'm trying to save some $'s (after blowing the wad on the boat) by keeping the high rise pedestals & butt seats from the Lund to use in the Ranger - if possible.

i think that BPS sells a pedestal that will fit a ranger,but do some checking as you will need the dia. if so; that would be cheaper than buying the ranger brand. like i did !

Why do you say that? Care to elaborate?

I think you can get standup pedestals at Gander for about $70 that will work in your Ranger. I just glanced at them but they looked like they'd work.
