Bobby Bass
I have several compost piles in my garden I used the older one as my worm farm. This time of the year when you can pick up crawlers after the rains I just add them to the compost pile. Place them on top and let the dig their way in. Don't add crawlers to a new compost pile as it will get to hot as it decomposes. A few pieces of plywood on top gives you easy access to your crawlers as all you need to do is remove and there are always some right on top. Great for the grand kids to catch their own before fishing. There are worm foods on the market but all we have ever done is sprinkled used coffee grounds on the mound. I don't know if it works or not but my grandfather used to do it with his and he was a bait dealer for years.
