0 croixeyes
Not sure of the amps yer motor draws,Id get 31 plate batteries if they will fit in your battery storage. That is if your getting regular deep cycle batteries.Your running time depends on how your using your motor.I would think you should have some info that comes with the trolling motor as to how many amps it draws .If not Im sure you can shoot motorguide that question on their web site. 0 Kevin Turner
RR316, I have a handle on your craft & use. Weight should be a primary consideration. I'd look hard at 3 smaller (lighter) troll batts that weigh & offer about the same reserve as two big troll batts. Fact is, you won't be runnin' on high very often, and three smaller batts should hold up as well as two bigger batts did on your 24 Volt troll mtr. I run three Dual Pro LS2200's or three Oddysey 1200's for my 36 Volt MK's. Both brands & smaller sizes hold up well for a normal day of fshn' the river. 0 primetime49
riverrat check motorguides web site and get to your motor it will give you the draw.it also will give you a recommended battery size etc .just make sure you stay away from dry cell storage batterries as i have found they last a very short time and do not perform good coose on the motorguide.by the way what I call a dry cell others call gel
