almosthaddabite
http://www.startribune.com/531/story/314879.htmlIf this happens it will be a real bummer, for many fisherman/campers.I really don't see the state taking these over, they seem to be short of funding themselves. My intentions with this next statement is not to start something but to look for some perspective. The cost of the Iraq war for one day would keep these sites open many years......strange. tripper
Then you should not have basicly spoken out against those that are putting thier lives on the line to give some one else the freedom to speak as you did.

gofish
The troops are protecting and we are playing, so they can and should have all the money or whatever else they need. In the other wars, the people back home sacrificed. Think maybe the country should be more united like they used to be. Everyone I know hates the war but no one wants another 9/11 either. It is the lives that we are losing that makes it really bad, more than the cost. I saw a picture when the war first started of our young troops and they were sleeping in the sand in holes they had dug, and the quote said ..so how are you sleeping tonight? Sure made me think. While the cost does seem huge... guess freedom does not come with a price tag.
LaZyDayZ
It states all should fully reopen by 2007. Sounds like just a temporary set back. It may even be a good thing for private resorts (speculation only). As far as any comaprison to Irac I will let my signature reflect my opinion. nofishfisherman
Not supporting the war doesn't mean you don't support the troops. I don't like the war and I don't think we should have rushed over there like we did. However, I realize the troops are doing their jobs and I appreciate the sacrifice that all soldiers since the American Revolution have made. I just don't think the Pres. should have gone to war without a plan on how to win.

Big Roy
Good idea, stay on topic. These campgrounds are some of the best in the state to stay in and it is too bad for those who planned ahead of time. I hope that they have a way to keep these open.
