0 ewirz
gunflint-I learned at a prety young age how to sharpen knifes with wet stones. I highly recommend it. It took some practice, but I can shave with any I sharpen. I use three different stones (can't remember the grits) coarse, med and super fine. The fine puts a mirror shine on it and they stay sharp for a long time. Practice on an old knife or pocket knife. Takes me about 15-20min no depending on the knife. biggest thing is getting the correct angle with the coarse stone and making sure to follow that with the rest (be careful not to put a wire edge on). My 2 cents. ERW
0 Gissert
As long as your bevel on the knife matches the bevel of you Lansky, you should be fine.I have a couple of knives that had a different bevel, and it too a LONG time to get it sharp with my Lansky. Once I had it, it worked great.
