Just got done on some of the sport sites and all of them are reporting the NFLPA and the NFL have come to an agreement on extending the CBA. Free Agency starts Friday morning at 12:01.

Sounds like a win win deal. More cap room. I think only two owners voted no. I wonder which two?

The Bills and Bengals owners voted against it. They are two of the teams with the lowest revenue in the league.

There's no way I can say this without it sounding like I am bashing the Vikes, but I'm still going to point it out. The reports I've heard are that the Vikes are one of the low revenue teams as well and therefore will not have to be dishing out money either.

The dome really hurts the amount of money they can make. The sell it out for every game but it just doesn't generate the revenue a new stadium would.

The vikes have had a lond standing tradition atleast under Red McCombs of being cheap cheap cheap. No getting around that. I am hopeful that the new owner is willing to make the Vikes one of the top teams that can compete every year and is willing to make itself better every year.

Red honestly set this franchise back 5 years with his cheap skate mentality. We would have possibly won a super bowl if he spent money on defense when we had the awesome offense.
