I'm looking to add a 2nd gps unit to the bow of my boat can someone tell me the differences between an x-15 and the lms-480m i allready have an x-15 in the dash and love it but am interested in the 480. pro's /cons thanks

I think the biggest difference will be the screen size. If you plan on running a split screen (gps/graph) an X15 would be nice.

If you already have a unit that works well up front, maybe consider a unit with only GPS. This way you don't have to look at a split screen all day. You can now buy a 3500, 332c with an internal GPS module for around $5-$600.

334c has the internal gps antena if I recal right. I run a 5" screen on my lms 332 in the bow and thats fine with me. Ya a bigger 7" screen would be nice but Im so close I really dont need it. I also will be running my H2Oc on the bow so I can get all my spots on it for winter.

A 332c would be great on the bow I think.
