i have some really old spearing decoys that i got from my grandpa they may be hand made does any one no if these are worth any money at all thanks alot -crappie kid-

Crappie kid, Hang onto to them, I'm sure they are worth some money. They get good money for new ones at banquets etc, but if you have a copper one, I'd gladly part with some bills for one.

There is a growing number of collectors and a definite market for old lures and decoys. Some decoys are worth LOTS of $$$ depending on a number of different factors. The maker, the age of the decoy, and others figure into the equation.

There is a big decoy show and swap meet in Perham, usually the first week of April. If you bring them there, you will get an idea of their worth.

Lots of neat stuff at that show besides decoys.

I would save them too. I did. My grandpa handed down a box full of old pike and muskie lures. I use them as decorations in my den. They bring back memories. I also was given a muskie lure by Walter Matthau that was used in the movie "Grumpier Old Men". He loved our midwest states and fishing. I had been doing security for Warner at the time. The lure is antique and it's hanging in my office at work.
