Trailblazin
I have a 2000 Evinrude 40 horse, 4 stroke. My neighbor came over to installmy new prop, but I do think it is on right? After he took off the prop, we laid the old one off to the side. I noticed a piece in the old prop, looks like a Thrust washer????Anyway, here is how he put the prop back on...put on prop, then thrust washer, then washer, then prop nut and cotter pin.I am no expert at this, but after reading the manual, it looks like the thrust washer goes in first, then the prop, then the washer and nut????Do I have it on correctly???? 0 Trailblazin
I should mention this thrust washer is pretty thick, maybe a good inch or so. It is not flat, but rather a thinner portion turning larger....
