Water Proof Clothing

I see a lot of people wear that ice armor fishing suit. Is this stuff 100 percent wather proof? With my old columbia suit, I could kneel down in slush and still stay dry. Is ice armor that good also? Does anybody else have a opinion on some good water proof fishing suits.

I have knelt down on the ice with about an inch of water on top. I was only down for a couple of minutes and my knees stayed dry. I sure like the built in padding in the knees. I have also worn my ice-armor in the boat in early spring cold rains and stayed dry.

I have soooo many coats that I did not want to invest in the Ice Armour suit. I instead went with the Gamehide bibs. Man are these nice. Waterproof, windproof, durability all in one.

Iam still working on the finance dept to give me the O.K. They look like a great outfit.Always something to buy for fishing or hunting as it never ends.Boy will the kid have a good auction one day.

How much does the Ice Armor suit run?

300 clams,but if you watch on HSOList and you find your size,sometimes they go cheaper than the store.You can go to Clams web site to use thier sizing chart.

Cabelas HSOforum is showing the Ice Armor Suit for $239.99 right now. Don't know if you can get it in the store for that same price???

Cabela's insulated guide-weight overalls have been the best thing for me so far. If the product has Goretex, you can be sure it's waterproof.

I'm sure the Ice Armor suit is top-notch too.

Is there any way to get just the ice armor bibs? I have plenty of jackets that fit the bill. The only waterproof bibs I have are for snowmobiling but they don't have kneepads or the pockets.

i also use the new gamehide typhoon series bibs, and the jacket. they are plenty warm also, not very cold out lately. these are my raingear for the spring, summer and fall.

I couldn't of said it any better myself. The material is waterproof and the padding in the knees and seat area are well worth their weight in gold! TWO THUMBS UP
