H2O C and Navionics Premium Hot Maps Problem

Bushwacker

Question

I have the H20 C and I cannot get it to recognize the Navionics Hot Maps chip. I also have the LakeMaster MN chip and that works right away. All I have to do is insert the chip and then turn on the power. There is a little chip flashing on the screen with both the Navionics and the Lowrance, but only the Lowrance depths come up. Any possible suggestions of settings I need to change?

Thanks for any help.

It's there, the Lakemaster chip pops up for me also, Nav chip you have to select 1 of the 4 regions and you don't do it on the map data page, you hit menu again and scroll down to browse mmc files that will allow you to select the right region, zoom out a little and it will show which region you have selected, you'll notice a bunch of high lighted squares for the region selected.

Good Luck let us know.

In advanced mode I go to the map data page and down to Navionics Map Choice and hit enter and then chose my Lake Superior Chip that I had in. Try that.

When you have a chip in your unit does it show that a chip is accepted anyplace on your screen? If so where?

I just got mine so I am still learning.

When I go to the map data page/selection it gives me 2 selections, Lowrance and Miami demo, clicking on either does nothing?

So I hit menu again and browse mmc files to selct my Nav region.

Fun stuff lot's of reading to do...

Thanks NorthLander.

It's there now I powered down and reinserted the Nav chip and all regions of the Nav chip show under the Map Data area.

The Lakemaster is not and just runs, no region selection needed.

Thanks Northlander.

I found the menu area to select the Navionics charts, but there are only codes there. Here is a list of the codes and regions from the Navionics HSOforum if anyone else is having problems.
