Water in Underwater camera?

caster

Question

Used my new underwater camera yesterday and noticed that when I dropped the fish in the water, air bubbles started coming out from the spot the cord enters the camera.

Is this normal or is there a leak? This would mean water is getting inside which could freeze.

Thanks for the help.

I guess for me it would depend on if you saw water in the camera or not. Since you say fish, I assume you have an Aqua-vu. I know the camera is mounted in the fish shell and the shell can be changed so I would assume that there is some air inbetween the actual camera and the shell that could bubble up when dropped in the water. If you can see water in the camera face area, then yes you have a problem and need to call Nature Vision!
