83walleye
I'm talking the lower low-pressure hose - I think it has a leak. Is it as easy as it appears to be? 97 Chev truck.
0 Powerstroke
SHould just be two hose ends. One end should have a swivel. Take the other end off first. A couple of wrenches and you'll be fine. Make sure you bleed the system when you're done and fill to appropriate level.
0 hondavxr
With the return line, it has no pressure, so your best bet is to locate the leak. It is probably some where on the rubber line. Go to a auto parts retailer and buy a few feet of bulk power steering hose, and some clamps. Take the old rubber hose off put in the new one on, clamp the ends your good to go. Now go out on to a lake and do figure eights. J/K, you'll fall through the ice.
0 IFallsRon
It's easier if you cut the hose off at the nut, then you can get a socket on it if there's room. I replaced the pump and hoses on my '88 this summer and it wasn't a picnic. A splitnut wrench works well for tightening on the new one. You need to get it pretty snug to prevent leakage.
