Lowrance 102c

How do I adjust this thing for ice fishing? I either get a double line that shows my lure dropping or it is difficult to see period. Rocket

I started using my 102C this year and love it. Use manual sensitivity and set it lower than you might think. I have found 70% + or - a little is good down to 30 feet. Your double line could be your split shot, swivel or anything else- the unit picks it all up. If other flashers are in the area you will need to adjust ping speed, surface clutter, scroll speed and noise rejection until you find what works for you. I find looking at the graph much more valuable and easier on the eyes than looking at a flasher.

I honestly do not know that I have ever adjusted that. I will check this evening. I also like to zoom in all the way, in 30' this will show the bottom 6'.

You may know this already but you can go to the Lowrance web site and down load the X102c simulator and play with it all you want. It helped me alot last spring.

I have a lot of fun with the sim online. It helped me with speed using my 332c on water. It cant, however, duplicate the weird situations that come up such as interference issues.

I used it this weekend on Gull and I was watching perch and walleye's on the bottom tracking my lure that was about 2 inches up. My 102 showed a yellow bottom and my lure was black to blue just bouncing on the bottom color even though I was not on the bottom. Curious if there is a way to adjust so that I could see the fish on the bottom from the lure and yellow bottom?
