Where can I Rent a Nils Master auger ?

Anyone know of anyplace in Minnesota that rents Nils Masters?

Have a buddy who's trying out equipment this year in hopes of figuring out what to buy for next year. I have a strikemaster (which I like, but don't love). He and I would both like to try a Nils. He's coming Feb 18-20 from out of state and will be on Mille Lacs or Red.

How 'bout one of you pro-staff who are touting the superiority of this auger. Wanna make a sale for good ol' FM ? Let him try yours, eh? and if it's as superior as I've heard then that's what he'll want... and ...if that's what he decides to buy, I'll tell him to buy it from TackleCity.

so far all I've found is; Ramsey General rents strikemasters, Lundeens rents strikemasters and jiffys; but I haven't found anyone who rents Nils yet.

I suggest going to a get-together or ICE Series event. Then you can check it out first hand and se for yourself.

We let around 40 guys and a few boys try it out last year on Medicine and over a dozen of them bought Nils this year

Like I said he's comin' in from out of state, so it's not like he can pick and choose which event to attend.

I used the nils this last weekend and it smoked my strikemaster!!! You hear about how fast it is but to see it, it was amazing. I didn`t want to buy any more equipment but now a new nils in on order. I thought that my strikemaster was fast but this is outragous.

Thanks for the feedback guys, but I don't really need any testimonials about how you love your Nils. I've already heard enough to be interested. Like I say a buddy (who's just starting to icefish) is looking to buy an auger and I'm kinda helping show him the ropes.

What I really need is a serious chance for him to try a Nils on Mille Lacs or Red on Feb 18th or 19th because he's travelling nearly a thousand miles to fish here that weekend(we are willing to pay a reasonable rental fee). I'm not gonna spend $500 of his money without him getting a chance to check out his own preferences.

I have a strikemaster which I've said I like (but don't love). I've used a friend's jiffy which he and I both dislike.

Nils has sparked our interest. We're really looking for someone whose interested enough to offer a one or two day demo/rental at Mille or Red when he's here.

I'm planning on being up on URL that weekend. I'm also working on buying a Nilsmaster auger soon. If it all shakes out maybe we can hook up there. I'll know more in the next couple of weeks.

But if you get a more solid offer to try one out definitely jump on it.
