Ice Grips for Pac Boots

What are some decent cleats/creepers for large boots? I have the Trans Alaskan boots(similar to the Predators) from Cabelas and they are very bulky. The little stretch on rubber types will not stay on and are very hard to stretch them that far anyways. Don't want to get too radical with the spikes like on the Korkers. Any ideas? I am not willing to put hex screws into them @ 170 bucks ooo.gif

Try stabilicers, there,s an HT brand and a type under that name. Gander should have them or Farm and Fleet, $39-49 FOR a pair. I know that's a little steep but there the good ones and how much is not falling on your worth?

The absolute best you can get (I've tried all I can find and others that found me) are the Ice Grips.

These babies were originally made for loggers working icy rivers. Industrial grade, lightweight, easy on and off, you don't lose them off your boot and they flat out work.

You order the size you need. Just measure your boots width and length.

I've had my pair for 6 years now.

Yep, I'll second what Rick says. You can run a dead-red sprint with Ice Grips on your feat.

I've worn the pair I have now for three seasons. They've been worn for dozens of miles across the ice, the sand, and even a parking lot or two. I've even managed to puncture the bed liner on my truck with them. And, they're still as effective as the day I got them.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. They are the most practical thing I own for ice fishing!

I agree, these are the best ice cleats I've ever had! When you have them on you can walk across ice just like you would a dry asphalt parking lot! And the guy will cusomize them for you to fit your boots. I have two pair, one made for my Ice King boots and one regular pair. Spend the money once, you'll never need another pair!!!

It's too bad they don't make them for size quadrupple large... or size 16... I've been getting by with the rubber ht stretch over boot style gripper now for a while... oh well... the curse of large feet I guess...
