Valv
I will have to take a trip to Italy possibly in september and I was looking at airline prices with all the discount services available online. So far best price is Priceline where I set my price and they will find me tickets. Is there anything else I should know or other web sites to check ?I am not much of an air traveler, so all this is farely new to me, or maybe best option is finding a good travel agent ? 0 nluchau
You can also try www.orbitz.com or call Northwest World Vacations. They might be able to help you out.
0 hoggs222
I've used Orbitz before & got a pretty good deal to Denver. There are some sites that won't give you your flight info: Times, etc. until after you pay.
0 H20fowlr
Val,I travel a lot internationally. Matter of fact I'm off to the UK on Monday. What I suggest if you are looking for the best fairs is get one of the super sale prices to London,Paris, Amsterdam or other major European cities. Europe has quite a few of the discount carriers like Southwest. The two I have used without any problems are Ryan Air and Easy Jet. You won't find these arilines from travel agents or the discount websites. You need to go to their HSOforum. Where are you going in Italy? Let me know and when I am in the UK I will research what discount carrier services closest to that city. You can then look on that airlines HSOforum and see what cities they service it from and then find the best flight from the US to that location. 0 Surface Tension
Val, check around and if your flexible you can get some cheap air fare. My dad prefers NW because its more direct with flights going from Mpls. to Detroit and then onto Rome from anyway from $350-$500 round trip. Have a good trip and if you get to Licusati tell them I say Hi.
