GPS Waypoint help please

Bushwacker

Question

I have had a Garmin eMap for 5 years now and have 300-400 waypoints saved in it. Is there anyway to transfer them to MapCreate 6, LMS 332C, or H2OC? The Garmin has a serial port connection to my computer, but I don't know how to tranfer them for Garmin to Lowrance. Is there anyway to just enter coordinates into MapCreate or the Lowrance GPS's? Any help or directions at all would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks.

If your Garmin has a serial connection to your PC did it come with any software, like Garmin's MapSource that you could transfer waypoints into??

Talk to Lowrance, they might have some help for you. They have some free software on their site that MIGHT work with Garmin.

The Easy GPS software is a good idea too. Good luck.

I lost 5 years worth of info. Find a way.

Best feeling in the world getting my Waypoints backed up after 7 Years.

Easy GPS was a life saver, now Bushwacker can get his Waypoints backed up for starters and then work on getting the Waypoints into his Lowrance products.

Thanks Perch......you the man... grin.gif
