J Smith
Ok, remember this is TOP SECRET! 1 head lettuce 1/2 head cauliflower 1 cup parmesan cheese 1 lb. fried bacon...usually I get the Morrel chopped Bacon in the bag (it's uaually by the bacon bits at the store) I use one bag. Dressing 1/3 cup Buttermilk 12 oz. Hellmans mayonnaise 1/2 cup sugar Mix dressing ingrediants. Chop Cauliflower fairly fine. Chop lettuce into 1" squares or so. Toss it all together and Wa la. It is the real McCoy! J.S.

SJB
I agree with BLB, one of the best salads ever, and put that on a plate next to the prime rib. You can't beat it.
J Smith
Hi guys, my Mother has a friend that worked there, she stole the recipe...never mentioned Bacon grease though. Your right about the Salad and Prime Rib. We had it on Christmas Eve. What a way to have dinner with the family. Hope you had as good a Christmas as I did. HAPPY NEW YEAR J. Tripleplay
I love this salad although I'm not sure where we picked up the recipe. This one looks really close to ours although I think ours maybe had a touch of vinegar in the dressing as well.I've heard that in the past the salad at the restaurant would change slightly and sometimes had a bit of carrot in it for example.I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Keep sharing the recipes as I've printed off a number of them and will try them sometime soon.
