How Long for 1 lbs Cylinder??

zelek

Question

I'm walking out tomorrow on the ice and don't really care to drag my 20 lbs tank out. Does anyone know how long could I could expect a 1 lbs cylinder to burn with a Mr. Heater Cooker turned up on high??

Only have hauled the Cabin out by hand once by myself for a quarter mile or so to my spot. Wasn't that bad, but took enough to let me know that I need to think about every pound I toss into the sled. It's a big enough tub to encourage that "might-as-well-bring-it-along" attitude, and have done enough canoe portaging to know how dangerous that can be. tongue.gif Bought a case of pounders a ways back and it worked out to around $1.66 each. Maybe shoulda bought a few more cases. But I'm spending less on heat than bait, so not too concerned.
