Yet another fan of da Ice Bustas. I don't do a whole lotta bobber fishing, but when I do it'll be a ice buster.

Ice Busters a great, I also use the Thill Supreme series with the Power Lock system. Either Way they are great floats.

You know what? I like to use them too!!! Just remember that an Ice Buster Bobber doesn't need a plastic bead on your line. Just use the Tie Knots. The bottom of the bobber is made with a skinny slotted hole that in reality is the plastic bead. It lets your line zip through the bobber so much quicker than using a small bead with the little round hole. I have some new light sticks that are pointed on one end. Now you don't have to take a toothpick and poke a starter hole to insert the light stick. They last 4 - to 6 hrs. I have to thank all of you guys for the positive comments. It's fun to see that. I usually set up an extra rod with an Ice Buster and a small glow jig or a circle hook. I like to hook the minnow in the side or by the tail for more action. Sometimes even hook the minnow upside down to make it look wounded. Have fun! Thanks again,

I haven't seen these little light sticks you refer to. Where can a guy find them?

Joe, you can get the little Thill's at Fleet Farm and Cabelas. I use them for my summer pannie fishing. Very slender and they make a minute splash when they hit the water.

I've seen the Thill style light sticks, but I haven't seen one that comes with a sharp point so you can stick it into the end of an Ice Buster Bobber.

Metrojoe start the hole with a toothpick then push the lightstick in the icebuster. This works great. I like orange.
