Upgrading Your LX-3 to LX-3tc (TrueColor)...

Mine took the ride on the 6th. I fished "blind" for thirty five years and can resort to doing it again for a while....will be later today in fact. Maybe it will be a nice change of pace. It is worth the down time....the clarity and sharpness of the colors will absolutely amaze you.

I'd send my LX-3 in too , but I would go crazy trying to fish with my old Vex. FL8 for 3 or 4 weeks!

I've been out with the LX5 half a dozen times so far and I'll tell you the True Color is so sweet. That fine crisp display and 3/4" separation really pops with the tc. Your going to see even more subtle details with the tc and those subtle details can make a world of difference at the end of the day.

I'd contact MarCum and see if you what kind of turn around they give you on the update. Looks like guys are getting their MarCums back in a week.

YES! !! Isent my unit in on the 5th and it just arrived at my door on the 14th. The new colors look great and now its time to go FISHING!

Great props to the staff at Marcum. I was told 3 to 4 weeks to get mine back and got it back in 5 days. Those guys up there are doing a great job!
