Scoot
Wondering at what point the fellers at Marcum are predicting the LX-5's will be in stores too...
Gus
Cabelas already has them in the catalogs. Not sure about retail stores though. I'll post back after the weekend if nobody else has an answer!
Dry_Fly
Just bought one this morning from the Marcum rep. in Duluth said he picked some up at the factory yesterday and brought them with him. Got a feeling they will go like hot cakes.
MN
good to hear - did you get the impression all models will be available?
Dry_Fly
Can't give you answer on that I wanted to talk to the Rep. on the LX-5 when it was being released and to my surprise he had some with him. I was already sold on the LX-5 from all the reading I have been doing on it. He asked me if talking to him is why I was buy one and I told him no for the same reason. He did say that they were trying real hard getting them out of the factory though which model's I didn't ask.
Blueman
I can tell you that I've been on a "waiting" list with Cabelas for well over a month. Kind of frustrating when the expected date on their HSOforum tells you 0-1 weeks. I've been given at least 4 different expected arrival dates. I'm done going through Cabelas and trying to get an answer from them so I emailed Marcum directly to see what they are saying as far as an anticipated date. I will keep you all posted. Dry_Fly
had one ordered from Cabela's also canceled it out. That's why I went to talk to the Marcum Rep. I was surprised he had them with him at the time. Almost drove over to Brainerd where there made and get one. Marine General in Duluth has some on stock or did the other day. Get on line and order one from them.

Blueman
OK everyone...anyone interested in getting their Marcum LX-5 and are tired of the wait from other larger retail stores, get ahold of Marine General...1-800-777-8557. They had as of 11-19-05 @ 1010 a.m 7 in stock. They had 12 in originally and they are quickly selling them. I am now officially off of the "month and a half waiting list" and should have my LX-5 by Tuesday at the latest they said...now just need the weather to cooperate. Have a good one everybody!!!! Matt Johnson
Reel Fishing and Tackle in Madison Lake, MN has the new LX-5 on display right now, as well as the LX-3tc...The LX-3tc and LX-5 have really set the bar for flashers in my opinion! The lines are very crisp and sharp, and the brightness in color is simply incredible!

From previous post here you can read who has had them and might still have.

Got_Ice
If anyone in WI near Appleton/Green Bay is interested the Sportsman in Appleton has at least 1 more LX-5. I picked mine up this AM. Looks like a real nice unit. Man that transducer is much larger than the LX-3. I guess with the dual cone it's to be expected.
